Thank you so much for inviting me in to help capture this special day. I hope you love the images! The gallery is now “live”. Clic the button below and use code: SMGD26 to enter.

FAQ:

What do I do if I already preordered?

  • If you preordered the full gallery - you will see a little down arrow in your student’s album (first clic the three dots on the right after opening the album). This will allow you to download all images. Note: it will be sent to your email.

  • If you pre-paid a reservation fee: You will receive an email with a code. Please be sure to use this code at checkout. Do not checkout without using the code!

How to order:

After entering the gallery - look for your family album. Clic on the image you would like to purchase and you will see various options for prints, wall art and digitals.

There are two options for digital images. Clic on any image. You will see the option to purchase one image (Single photo) or the full album (All photos in album).

The crop looks funny in the preview - will it print that way?

For some reason, the preview shows a square regardless of the actual print size. I hand-check every order, so not to worry! I try to keep the full person within the frame. If there is a specific crop you would like, feel free to note that in the comments.

About the Photographer

Alexis Wolfe Mbassa is a portrait photographer with a passion for storytelling through images. She began her photography career in 2001, specializing in music and entertainment, working with artists and musicians in Seattle, WA. Her first book, Emerald City Hip Hop, was published in 2008, and that same year she moved to NYC to pursue her master’s degree in education.

Alexis spent years as a public school teacher in NYC, blending her love for teaching with her creative work, and continuing to photograph musicians, actors, and organizations.

Her second book, Keep It Beautiful: The World of Shock G as Told to Alexis Wolfe Mbassa, will be published by Crown Publishing | Random House in 2026.

Returning to Seattle in 2023 with two young children and years of experience in education, Alexis naturally expanded her photography business to include family and school portraits. With her background in teaching, she has a unique ability to connect with children, capturing their authentic personalities and the joy they bring to the people who love them most.
